Clear layouts and branding for Llanelli retailers, hospitality, and service businesses: menus, offers, galleries, and pages structured so Google and customers both understand what you do.
Web design & development in Llanelli
I build websites for Llanelli businesses from my base in nearby Carmarthen, close enough to know the area without the overhead of a big agency. Whether you’re on the town centre parade, around Parc Trostre, or running a trade that covers the Llanelli and Burry Port patch, you get a site that works on phones, loads quickly, and makes it obvious how to contact you.

What I build for Llanelli businesses
This page covers web design and development only, not browser extensions or SaaS builds (those stay on the main site if you need them later).
Reliable Next.js sites with contact forms, service-area pages, performance tuning for mobile users, and free Vercel hosting so you avoid ongoing monthly platform subscriptions.

Why choose a nearby developer for Llanelli?
Llanelli sits between Swansea and Carmarthen. Many owners want someone local enough to understand the patch, without paying Cardiff agency rates. You get one point of contact and straight answers.
High-street and retail-heavy areas need sites that look trustworthy fast: opening hours, click-to-call, WhatsApp, and simple updates when stock or offers change.
I’ve shipped production sites and tools for clients beyond Wales; for Llanelli I focus on practical marketing sites that bring enquiries, not bloated builds you can’t maintain.
How we work together
- Step 1
Get in touch
Message on WhatsApp with a rough idea, or book a call to talk through pages, budget, and timeline. I’ll follow up with a clear quote.
- Step 2
Design & build
We agree structure and design, then I build on a staging link so you can review before anything goes live.
- Step 3
Launch & support
Launch on Vercel with free hosting and SSL. Your ongoing cost is mainly your domain renewal each year. Optional help when you need new sections or seasonal updates.

A bit about me
Who am I?

Hi, I'm Zak Furness, a freelance web designer and developer based in Carmarthen, West Wales. I work from home and build sites for businesses that need something clear, fast, and easy for customers to use on a phone.
I serve Llanelli and South West Wales from my Carmarthen base, close enough to know the area without big-agency overhead.
I've been doing web development for 7+ years, mostly through Fiverr and Upwork, working with 180+ clients on websites, browser extensions, and SaaS projects. Recently I've been focusing more on direct work with local businesses, so you deal with me on WhatsApp or a call, not an agency account manager.

FAQs for Llanelli
- Do you work with businesses in Llanelli if you’re based in Carmarthen?
- Yes. Carmarthen is my base and Llanelli is part of my regular service area. Most work is done remotely; WhatsApp and booked calls are how we coordinate.
- What kind of Llanelli businesses do you build sites for?
- Shops and salons on the parade, trades covering the town, professional services, food and drink, and small firms that need a credible web presence rather than a complex web app.
- How much does a website cost?
- Websites start from £300 depending on complexity and the features you need. I’ll give you a fixed quote after we scope the work. No surprise invoices.
- Is hosting included, or do I pay every month?
- There’s no monthly hosting bill from me. Your site runs on Vercel’s free hosting tier, so you’re not paying a platform subscription on top of the build. Your main ongoing cost is usually just renewing your domain name each year, typically around £10–£15 with most registrars.
- Why not just use Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy?
- Those builders are fine if you want to do it yourself on a template, but they charge a monthly subscription. Over five years that often adds up to more than £1,250 for a basic site, and if you stay longer you can end up spending thousands. You’re usually renting space on their platform rather than owning a site you can move freely. A custom build on free hosting is one project cost plus your domain, without being locked into their billing forever.
